Last night’s AGM meeting was well attended, with 27 members joining on Zoom. It was the second year that the speaker praised BBA for the numbers attending the meeting. It was great to see so many members. The 2026 committee was elected, with Kate Atchley being elected as the new Chair and David McLuckie taking over as BBA secretary. Details of the new committee will be shared soon.

A talk following the AGM was given by Lorraine Johnstone, Bee Advisor from SRUC . The subject of “Exotic pests and diseases including tropilaelaps” was very interesting and well-received.
